No more empty, echoing arenas. No more single location for multiple playoff rounds.

UConn’s women’s basketball team will get its first taste of a post-pandemic post-season this weekend as the No. 1 seed in the Big East Tournament at Mohegan Sun Arena. And with declining virus rates in the state and nation, the league has lifted its vaccination proof/negative COVID test requirement as well as its mask mandate.
