Washington kicked off day two of its state tournament for boys and girls on Thursday, while the boys from Idaho played day one of their roster.

Mt. Spokane 70, Mountlake Terrace 45 (video highlights in girls section): Mt. Spokane took an 18-6 lead after the first quarter and never looked back as four players scored in double figures. The Wildcats will face Rainier Beach at 5:30 p.m. Friday for a berth in the state championship.
Pullman 78, Prosser 48 (video highlights): Jaedyn Brown had 24 points as the Greyhounds outscored Prosser 27-3 in the third quarter. Pullman will face No. 1 seed North Kitsap on Friday at 7:15 a.m. in the semifinals.

Lynden Christian 67, Quincy 44
Brewster 67, Toutle Lake 65 (video highlights): Brewster trailed in double digits in the second half but would rally late to level the game at 63 with less than 40 seconds left. The Bears had their last possession with 20 seconds left and that’s when senior Adaih Najera hit the game winner. Brewster will face Kalama in the semifinals with a 7:15 p.m. tee time on Friday.
Morton White-Pass 64, Colfax 60 (video highlights): It was John Lustig’s show for the Bulldogs, as the senior scored 40 points. However, his heroic effort was not enough as he would foul late in the game, and Morton-White Pass would take advantage with four unanswered points to cling on to victory. Colfax will face Lake Roosevelt in the consolation bracket at 3:45 p.m. Friday.
Liberty 69, Lake Roosevelt 54 (video highlights): The Lancers trailed at halftime but put on a memorable second half. Liberty outscored Lake Roosevelt 22-8 in the third quarter, led by a strong performance from Colton Marsh. He would lead all scorers with 19 points. Liberty will face Morton-White Pass in the semifinals at 9 p.m. Friday.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 52, Lummi Nation 44 (video highlights): ACH used an 11-0 run to start the third quarter to earn a win. The Warriors play Northwest Yeshiva Friday at 2 p.m. for a berth in the state championship.
Cusick 74, DeSales 65 (video highlights): Cusick’s boys had this game in control from start to finish. Cusick will face Sunnyside Christian in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Mead 52, Stanwood 33 (highlights in video below): The No. 1-seeded Mead Girls went on a 17-1 run in the fourth quarter to close out the game and advance to the state semifinals. They next play #4 Lake Washington on Friday at 7:15 a.m.

Colfax 67, Raymond 34 (video highlights): Brynn McGaughy had 27 points while Asher Cai added 22 and the Bulldogs crossed. Colfax faces conference foe Liberty in the semifinals Friday at 5:30 p.m. Colfax is 2-1 in the series this year, with a blowout win at the conference championship.
Liberty (Spangle) 59, Chief Leschi 29 (video highlights): The Lancers rained down from three-point field with several players making two or more three-pointers. Teagan Colvin led all scorers with 22 points and Grace Grumbly had 16. Liberty will face Colfax in the semifinals on Friday with a 5:30 tip.
Okanogan 64, Lake Roosevelt 49 (video highlights): Okanogan outscored Lake Roosevelt by 19 points in the third quarter and pulled away. Okanogan will face No. 2 seed Warden on Friday at 3:45 a.m. for a shot at a state championship.

Garfield-Palose 40, Mossyrock 35 (video highlights): Kenzi Pederson led Garfield-Palose to a big first-half lead with 20 points. Mossyrock would respond in the second half by cutting the lead to one point, but the Garfield-Palose Vikings would hang on for the win by knocking down late free throws. Garfield-Palose will face No. 1 seed Mount Vernon Christian on Friday on a tip at 7:15 p.m.
Colton 57, Pomeroy 43 (video highlights): Colton’s Maggie Meyer had 25 points as perennial powerhouse Colton advanced to the state semifinals. Colton will face Neah Bay in the semifinals on Friday at 9 p.m.

Centennial 72, Lake City 67 (Washington girls section highlights): The No. 1-seeded Lake City Boys were upset by No. 8 Centennial in the Idaho State quarterfinals on Thursday. At one point, the Timberwolves cut Centennial’s lead to two with less than a minute to play, but they couldn’t close the deficit. Lake City will face Eagle in a consolation game on Friday at 11:00 a.m. PT.
Swamp Valley 66, Bonners Ferry 46
St. Maries 46, Firth 34 (video highlights): St. Maries began their quest to defend their 2021 state title in emphatic fashion Thursday by opening up a 14-point third-quarter lead against Firth. The Lumberjacks will face West Side Friday at 6:00 p.m. PT for a berth in the state championship.
Kamiah 41, Liberty Charter 23 (video highlights): Kamiah opened up a 14-point lead in the third quarter behind several plays from Brady Cox. They will face Grace at 6:00 p.m. PT Friday in the state semifinals.
Lapwai 83, Phare Christian 39 (video highlights): Lapwai opened his match against Lighthouse Christian on a 16-0 run and never looked back. Titus Yearout also scored his 2,000th career point in the contest. Lapwai will face Logos in the state semifinals on Friday at 4:00 p.m. PT.
